Simon is a middle-aged blind dog who we suspect has been blind since birth. When we first met him at the shelter, we knew he was the one for us. Despite his blindness, Simon’s spirit remained unbroken. Although we used a halo to guide him in the first few weeks, he quickly learned to navigate his surroundings with ease, proving to be a true inspiration to us all. Simon reminds us that we can overcome challenges with a positive attitude and a determined spirit.
His favorite things in life include belly rubs, massages, cuddling on the sofa, and going for sensory walks. Simon is a forever dog who has left a forever mark on our hearts, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, love, and kindness will always prevail.
